Pizzelle
Ingredients (Makes about 60 pizzelles)
- 6 eggs
- 3 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 1 cup of butter
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 2 tablespoons anise, 3 1/2 tbsp vanilla, lemon zest to taste (4 tsp)
Instructions
- beat eggs, add sugar
- add cool melted butter
- add flavouring
- sift powder + flour
- Use a spoon to place the dough on the pizzelle baker surface
- Close and clamp the lid and cook until golden brown, about 30 seconds.
- Transfer pizzelles to paper towels to cool. Repeat with remaining dough
